UPDATE!

Hey all,

how's life? What's going on? Any new thoughts, problems, successes, stories, anything?

I'm doing okay--I spent last week at a friend's house, and we didn't get much sleep--so I'm not having so much fun with school right now. However, I've started a personal blog which I think I will enjoy... and I hope you will too... I've been thinking about labels lately, how we tend to label certain people or certain styles... even ourselves... and they shape the way we think. I wonder why so often our labels have negative connotations as opposed to positive ones.... It reminds me how our culture works to fragment us. I'll post more on it later, still working out some kinks.

My family's doing fairly well. I joined my youth group worship team, which is pretty exciting (more about that when I post about labels)... and right now I'm working on spending time in silence.

Artisans (sort of)

While I haven't been pounding away at the African drums since Wheatstone, I have been working on a bit of film writing. Finished the first draft of a short screenplay that a few friends of mine were planning to shoot with me over the summer (before college claimed them, God help them).
